UU's Jordheim, Hendry Win Freestyle Races At CU Invite

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo.—Utah's Guro Jordheim and Samuel Hendry won the freestyle races as the Nordic teams opened their collegiate season with the Colorado Invitational. Utah increased its lead in the team standings.

The meet finishes on Sunday with the women's 10-km and men's 20-km classic races. The women start at 9 a.m. with the men and 10 a.m.

  • Utah's Leah Lange finished fifth for her third career top-five finish.

  • Utah's Logan Diekmann finished in the top five for the eighth time in his career.
