Utah's Dvoracek, CU's Tommy Win GS Races At CU Invitational

ELDORA, Colo.—Utah's Addison Dvoracek and Colorado's Mikaela Tommy won the giant slalom races on the first day of the Colorado Invitational.

  • Montana State's Aage Solheim has finished on the podium in every race this year.
  • Colorado's Filip Forejtek finished in the top five for the first time this year.
  • Along with Solheim, Denver's Tobias Kogler has finished in the top five every race this year.

  • Colorado's Mikaela Tommy has won all three women's GS races this season.
    • Montana State's Nellie Talbot earned her first career podium finish.
    • Colorado's Stef Fleckenstein continues her streak of finishing in the top five in every race this year with her third podium of the season. Utah's Sona Moravcikova earns her first top five finish of the season and in addition to Fleckenstein, has finished in the top 10 in every race. Denver's Storm Klomhaus earned a top five finish in her first race of the season, returning after not competing most of the last two seasons. 11 total skiers failed to finish the first run.
