DENVER—In a scheduling anomaly that includes four different regular season meets being started by not completed as we close January, the RMISA announced its Skiers of the Meet for those competitions Monday.

Opening in Alaska in early January, Denver's Andreas Kirkeng began the season on a tear winning both men's Nordic races there and Alaska Fairbank's Kendall Kramer was almost as equally as impressive with a win and second place finish at the UAA Invitational.

Shortly after, alpine action started at the DU Invitational and Colorado's impressive performance led to two winners with Filip Wahlqvist and Louison Accambray both taking home the honors after both picked up a race win and fourth place finish in their respective disciplines and genders.

Utah's Nordic races then took center stage at Soldier Hollow and the Utes dominating team performance led to two winners with Walker Hall and Erica Laven taking home the honors. Laven won both women's races and Hall won and finished fourth in the other race.

Most recently at Montana State, it was the Utes Joe Davies that brought home honors on the men's side after two podiums with a win and third place finish. Colorado's Tilde Baangman finished second in both women's races to pick up the Buffs third honor of the season.

The Skiers of the Meet are calculated from race results by combining both finishes and the lowest outcome winning. Skiers, however, can only win once per season so the winner would then go to the next skier in line. In the case of a tie, the combined time of the two races are used to break the tie.
