MIDWAY, Utah—The RMISA's 2022 season will officially kick off Sunday as the Nordic teams will participate in the U.S. National Championships and take results from that for the Utah Invitational.
Three of the races for each gender will be used for NCAA Qualification with two counting as the Nordic portion of the Utah Invitational. Sunday's Freestyle Sprint races and Thursday's 10/15K Classic races will count toward the Utah Invitational while the Friday's Classic Sprint races will count as an extra RMISA Qualifier.
The alpine portion of the Utah Invitational will take place Jan. 24-25 at Park City.
Who: All seven RMISA Nordic teams are expected to participate: Alaska Anchorage, Alaska Fairbanks, Colorado, Denver, Montana State, Utah and Wyoming.
What: The Utah Invitational and U.S. National Championships.
