DENVER— The Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association has released its 2026 schedule, as teams from across the region will compete from early January to mid-March to determine the next national champion.
The league will get its schedule underway at the US National Cross Country Championships in Lake Placid, N.Y., from Jan. 4-9, with two races at the championship used for the RMISA Nordic Invitational and a third race used as an extra qualifier.
Alpine action will begin in Colorado with the Colorado and Denver Invitationals taking place over four days at Eldora and Loveland. Eldora will host two GS races and Loveland two slalom races, the first at each location part of the DU Invitational and the second part of the CU Invitational.
Nordic action returns at the Utah Invitational in late January at Soldier Hollow around the same time that alpiners will head to Nevada for the first Nevada Invitational since 2010. This is the Wolfpack's third season back in collegiate skiing and first meet it will host in 15 years.
Nordic teams will spend two weeks in Colorado from February 7-14 to close out the DU Invitational (Feb. 7-8 at Maloit Park) and CU Invitational (Feb. 13-14 at Howelsen Hill).
The regular season will conclude with the alpine portion of the Utah Invitational at Olympic Park Feb. 22-24 before teams head up to Montana State for the entire postseason. The Bobcats will host RMISA Championships Feb. 26-28 at Bridger Bowl and Crosscut Mountain Sports Center before hosting NCAA Championships on the same venues from March 11-14.
