Tuesday, March 17, 2015 • by Curtis Snyder, USCSCA

BOULDER, Colo.—Fresh off winning the program’s 20th National Championship, the Colorado Buffaloes were tabbed the top team in the final SYNC Coaches Poll for the 2015 collegiate ski season.

In its inaugural season, the final poll is taken from the final standings from the 2015 NCAA Championships. Previously, three regular season polls were voted on by 12 coaches nationwide, six alpine and six Nordic, spread across the three regions that comprise NCAA skiing.

Denver topped the alpine poll and Colorado topped the Nordic poll, as well. The Pioneers were the preseason pick by the coaches to repeat as NCAA Champions and Colorado was picked as the favorite in each of the two regular season polls that were released.
