The Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association is the official association for college and university NCAA skiing teams in the Rocky Mountain region. It is comprised of seven NCAA Division I and one NAIA institutions from seven states stretching from Alaska to New Mexico.
A leader in collegeiate skiing since its inception, the RMISA spear-headed a national championship a few years before the NCAA meet began in 1954. Since the first NCAA Championships that season, schools from the RMISA have captured 51 of the 58 team titles and 286 of the 399 individual champions are student-athletes from RMISA schools.
